Albion House is a small game studio made by two cousins. We grew up in different cities, but spent our summers together at our grandparents' house in Albion, Nebraska.
It was a beautiful old place filled with winding hallways, hidden rooms, and enough mystery to keep two kids exploring all summer. One day, in a corner of the basement, we made an exciting discovery: under a dust cover was an Apple IIe from 1983.
We had been playing The Secret of Mana on the SNES. We set down the controllers, turned on the old computer, and taught ourselves to make games in BASIC. That was the spark.
One cousin went to art school. The other studied computer science. Years later, those paths found each other again.
Albion House is named after the place where it started. We are still making games.
